I remember the first day in this city, it was so big.
Believe me it was, for someone who always lived in some little country town, Aalborg was a big city, and i say "was" because after some time it kind of starts to get smaller the more you know "her". And as the time passed i really fell in love with this little big town - it has the chillness of a south European town, after some time you almost know everyone in the streets, there is no stress in Aalborg but there is always something going on, you just have to know where to search, and if you can not find it, then you can always take a look at "Jomfru Ane gade" :D
There are these old little streets hidden in the heart of the city, with these old colorful houses, and the huge ones just beside, that look like a royal palace but are only a bank or a school, there is the Limfjord that crosses the city where little boats sail and lovers walk by the waterfront, there is "fjordbyen" a place i love to pass by and watch the amazing free people that hangs around there looking at the world in such a different way, and "Platform 4" that fills our days with all kinds of underground art, and when summer comes there is "Chill i Parken" where i really have seen the best of Human nature, "Transformator", "Nordkraft", "Skråen", "Biffen", "Huset", "Studenterhuset", "Alpha", "Ib Rene Cairo", "Viva la Revolution" and many other places that would make this post really long.
Well here are some sketches from the city i can't call home but that i definitely Love.
