Dear friends this is going to be a really short post.
I just want to tell you that i still active and sketching, but lately i have been a little bit busy with school and social life :) But i have started a project that i called "Love Animals", i don't know how i am going to use them or if i even gonna use them, maybe is going to be a kids shirt collection or a Valentines postcard series, maybe nothing at all. But the 2 first are done so i wanted to show them to you, so here they are "The Love Birds".

Well i have made a sketch for my blogspot background, for my facebook timeline and now was Twitter's time!
I kind of start to understand facebook nerds that keep changing the page visual, cause it is a fun thing to do, and when you are finally done, you are kind of ready to start again and make a new one.
I guess that means that i am going to do a new one soon again, but for now you can see my Twitter background if you follow me, or just right here on this screen shot.

When i was young i use think that animals were just animals, later on i started to think that some of them just looked like Humans.
Today i think humans look like animals.

Aficion! Tradition or cruelty?
This has been a really hot topic nowadays, specially in countries like Portugal, Spain and France where a lot of people are fighting to end bullfights and other are fighting to keep it. Well i had to make a sketch out of it and here is Oscar the bull. But i dont want to blend on this fight, so this sketch takes no parties!
I can explain why i dont want to blend; my problem is that rationally i understand the activists that are against bullfights, but my heart tells me another thing. You see i was born and educated in a place where people vibrate when the see a bull and a man in the arena, i am not going to try to defend that by using stupid arguments as "tradition" and so on, tradition is a fantastic thing, but some are obsolet and dont make sense in our days, so there is no argument i can use to defend it. But sometimes i ask a question to myself; "Where lays the bar that defines cruelty? " a bull is a magnific animal and bullfights are cruel, but i just think that sometimes we kind of decide that somethings are wrong and some that still wrong are ok. Tell me what is the diference between a bull and a rabbit or a grouse that are hunted every year for a sport sake? Or even the chicken that we love to eat in our burgers, that had a miserable life in a cage, being overfeed to only one propose, to be eaten in the end? and i could go on now for pages and pages of "acceptable" animal cruelty, but i dont have the time or energy for that, the point is how funny is that we close our eyes to so many things that are wrong, in many cases cause they give us some kind of profit.
The bull at least had a nice life until the day he had to go to the arena.
If they stop bullfights all over the world i am not going to oppose them, to be honest i can see the right in it, but then i hope they stop a whole lot of other things that we accepted as right!
