Sketching Fenrir!

A couple of days ago a friend asked me if i could sketch a tattoo design for him. "Of course!" I said, "And what would that be?"
 "A Fenrir." he told me, i have to be honest i had no idea what a Fenrir was, the only Fenrir i knew was Fenrir Greyback, a werwolf character from the Harry Potter series. Well as it is, i was not that far away from the truth, a Fenrir is a Wolf.
 

From the Norse mithology, Fenrir is a big bad wolf, "the monster of the river Ván",due to the gods' knowledge of prophecies foretelling great trouble from Fenrir and his rapid growth, the gods bound him, and as a result Fenrir bit off the right hand of the god Tyr.

How could i not know about this fantastic creature?? Thanks to my friend Palle i now am a fan of Fenrir, and so i made two sketches of the beast, one more realistic and one more cartoonish, now i just hope that Palle gets one of them as a inked sketch :)

Sketching Ghost!!

So finally Game of Thrones season 2 is out!!
 It was a long and hard time waiting for it, but it was totally worth it, the first episode was as good as i expected, to short to be honest :D, The man of the North are back and marching south, the Wolf wants revenge upon the Lion, The Nightwatch is marching north of the wall to a greater danger than the games of the south, in every corner of the seven kingdoms we have a new self-proclaimed King, and even some new and strange Gods. This episode was really a build up to a great season o Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones Season 2

Well my friends, Ned is gone, John is on the wall and he is not a Stark anymore, well he never was actually, what i meant is that he is a man of the Night Watch now, the Crows are his new family. Bran is a cripple that dreams about 3 eyed birds,  Wilds are fleeing to the south telling tales of the White Walkers, Rob is marching against the false king, the Imp just escaped alive his first battle and far away from Vesteros the Dragon Queen is rising from the ashes. 


Season 2 of "The Game of Thrones" will be on air April 1st, and me like millions of fans can't wait any longer, this is going to be crazy!
 I will not spoil it for the ones that did not read the books, but let me tell you, that if you liked season I, well  that was just the beginning, Winter is coming and is not a mild one. I could not let to illustrate some of my favorite characters, and they are the "House of Stark" but stil are many others, so stay tuned, i will probably come with some new Game of Thrones illustrations soon again :D
